New \u201cPlay it Safe\u201d flyer intended to be distributed across casinos and betting shops internationally<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative comes as many gambling venues are reopening their doors after months of disruptions caused by the pandemic. Gambless picks up on a demand for player protection resources coming directly from land-based operators, such as Hippodrome Casino<\/em> in the UK and LoginBet<\/em><\/a> betting shops in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maurizio Savino, CEO at Gambless, commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs we slowly get back to normal, we are seeing more gambling operators reaching out to us, interested in learning how they can keep their players protected. These days we hear the words “reopening safely” very often, and for gambling venues \u2018safely\u2019 has a double meaning \u2013 both from a sanitarian standpoint and with regards to responsible gambling. It\u2019s important we all remind ourselves which habits are healthy and which ones can become harmful.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cPlay it Safe\u201d flyers include a PGSI self-assessment test and – for those who are deemed at risk of problem gambling – a free code to access psycho-educational resources on the Gambless app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative promoting safer gambling is aimed particularly towards those who gamble at land-based casino and betting shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maurizio Savino added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe encourage all operators to be proactive and distribute informative materials to customers, as they return to populate their outlets. We are aware that land-based establishments are coming from a tough year, thus we are offering our resources freely, without asking any contribution to operators. Same goes for gamblers, who can access our psycho-educational resources for free until the end of 2021. This is particularly important, as this is a time when several major sport summer events return after the pandemic, like the Euro 2020 Cup and the Tokyo Olympics.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
